Castle Education are now recruiting for Secondary Science Teachers in the Scarborough area, to work either on a day to day, long term supply, or permanent basis. We are looking for Science specialists that can deliver Science across the full range and ability at KS3 and KS4 and be able to maximise the potential of all students of all abilities. We are now recruiting to help Science teachers secure their ideal role for September.

As a Science specialist, you would be promoting and developing attainment in this essential life skill. We are looking for strong subject specialists to promote KS3 and KS4 Science. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a thriving Science department within supportive schools and will be a good opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or for an experienced teacher looking for their next career move.

The role requires some excellent subject knowledge and vocational experience including;

• A Degree in Science With a strong specialism (Ideally Biology, but General Science will be considered)
• Relevant Professional qualifications, including a relevant teaching qualification including QTS, although NQT's are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Current DBS on the update service, or willing to gain one through Castle Education
• Demonstrable experience teaching Science to KS4.
