Castle Employment HR division are working with their North Yorkshire-based client to recruit a HR Business Partner.  Operating initially in a stand-alone capacity, the role will lead the HR function within the business.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support an already successful global business with ambitious growth plans.  Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for leading and developing a proactive Human Resources function, and ensure the provision of a proactive and comprehensive HR and advice service to the business, working in partnership with the management teams to help create, shape and deliver people orientated and pragmatic solutions.

You will be responsible for coaching and building the capability and confidence of leaders and managers on all people matters, helping them to understand, access and improve capability of their teams.  Additionally you will provide HR insight into change management, organisational design, employee engagement and succession planning, as well as contribute to the overall people strategy.  The role will also include the provision of day to day advice and support, as well as coaching, to managers on a range of employee relations issues both locally and globally, and provide advice to hiring managers on the end to end resourcing process.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5), and have previous experience in a HR Generalist role ideally in a standalone capacity and working for a business with global reach.  You will have thorough knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, supported by Human Resource Management best practice principles,  practices and procedures.  Additionally, you will have experience of managing change, be a highly effective communicator with an ability to build credible working relationships, and possess the ability to coach, train and guide managers across a range of people issues.
