Castle Employment HR division are working with their North Yorkshire-headquartered client to recruit a HR Manager to be based in Scarborough, York or Brighouse.
This exciting role will see the successful candidate working for an accomplished and growing business with a friendly and open culture. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure the provision of a proactive and comprehensive HR and advice service to the business, and work in partnership with the management teams to help create, shape and deliver people orientated and pragmatic solutions.
You will be responsible for providing day to day HR advice and support, as well as coaching, to managers on a range of employee relations issues, and provide advice to hiring managers on the end to end resourcing process. Coaching and building the capability and confidence of leaders and managers on all people matters will also play a part in this role, helping them to understand, access and improve capability of their teams.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, and have previous experience in a HR Generalist role ideally in a multi-site business. You will have thorough knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, supported by Human Resource Management best practice principles, practices and procedures. Additionally, you will have experience of managing change, be a highly effective communicator with an ability to build credible working relationships, and possess the ability to coach, train and guide managers across a range of people issues.
