Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the building and construction industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Oakleigh, Victoria.

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in
  • Support with operational tasks including loading trucks and preparing materials for installation.
  • Hands-on work alongside tradesmen, learning joinery techniques and practices.
  • Gain experience in building cupboards and completing cabinetry projects to industry standards.
  • Learn design-to-production skills using Computer Aided Design, tools, and machines, with the option to specialise in furniture making or kitchen/bathroom installation.
What we’re looking for - Skills & Experience
  • Certificate II in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology is desirable
  • Strong interest in woodworking, design, and hands-on practical work
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn from experienced tradespeople
  • A valid Driver’s Licence and Vehicle is a mandatory requirement for this role
  • A white card
