Application Consultant | Power Platform | Junior-Mid Level (BBBH13031) Sydney, Australia
| Salary: | including super |
We’re partnering with a leading Australian company seeking an Application Specialist.
This is a hybrid role, with 4 days p/w on-site in the Sydney CBD.
No sponsorship is available for this role.
This is a broad, stakeholder facing role combining enterprise application support, low code automation, integration monitoring and continuous improvement. You’ll take ownership of applications throughout the full ticket lifecycle while also contributing to projects that improve how data, approvals and information move across the business.
The environment is primarily centred around Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint and Fabric. Previous Workato experience is highly desirable but not essential; candidates with strong experience across comparable integration or low code platforms will be considered.
The role
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technical architects, vendors and internal technology teams to:
- Own incidents, service requests and problems from initial assessment through to resolution.
- Provide responsive second and third-line support for business-critical applications.
- Build and improve workflows, forms and approval processes using low-code technology.
- Configure solutions that help data and information flow between operational systems.
- Administer application environments, user access, security roles, licences and configuration.
- Monitor integrations, scheduled jobs, data pipelines and overall platform health
- You’ll ideally bring:
- At least three years’ experience supporting enterprise or cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate.
- Experience with integration or automation platform.
- Development or technical configuration experience within a low-code environment.
- An understanding of how integrations, APIs, connectors and data flows operate across multiple systems.
- Experience managing incidents, service requests, problems and changes through the full lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
You don’t need to be someone who builds complex APIs or connectors from scratch. However, you should understand integrations conceptually, know how data moves between systems and be comfortable investigating when those flows fail.
