Overview

We’re currently looking for 2x Technical D365 F&O Consultants / Developers to join a large-scale ERP transformation programme already underway.

This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who can step into an active environment, get up to speed quickly, and support a significant body of work across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a particular focus on finance / ERP, supply chain, and sales order-related processes.

You’ll be working across solution delivery, custom development, integrations, data movement, release support, and broader technical problem-solving in a fast-paced programme environment.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development & Customisation

• Design and build scalable solutions within D365 F&O
• Develop custom extensions using X++, following an extension-first approach
• Build and support custom business logic where out-of-the-box functionality doesn’t meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain forms, workflows, reports, and batch jobs
• Ensure solutions align with a configure first, customise last mindset

Technical Design

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
• Produce clear technical design documentation
• Work closely with functional teams and architecture stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
• Support design decisions that reduce unnecessary customisation and align to the wider system landscape

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on experience across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Proven background in technical consulting / development within enterprise ERP environments
• Experience supporting work across:
  • Finance / ERP
  • Supply Chain
  • Sales Orders / Operational process flows
• Ability to come into an active programme and contribute quickly with minimal ramp-up
• Strong experience with X++ development
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and broader Microsoft ecosystem tooling
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and release processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
