Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with a strong background in high-volume accounts payable (AP) Do you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join a prestigious ASX-listed company located just outside Melbourne CBD. This is a full-time role offering excellent career growth opportunities and a supportive work environment, where you'll work directly alongside the Accounts Payable Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process high-volume accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Oversee invoice matching, coding, and reconciliation processes
- Assist with reporting and analysis
- Process payment runs and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Resolve AP discrepancies and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable roles
- Strong attention to detail!!
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Tech 1 system (experience not required)
