About the opportunity 

This is a 12-month contract role (with possible extension) for an experienced Quality professional to provide additional support to the Quality team in this Not-for-Profit organisation.  Based in the Northern Beaches and Western Sydney, you will support the Quality Team to ensure compliance to all relevant guidelines and standards.   

 Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance to procedures and cGMP.
• Checking, sampling, and inspecting raw materials for QA approval
• Monitor various aspects of the QMS such as temperature mapping, validation, maintenance, and calibrations
• Manage CAPA process
• Assist with Quality documentation for product release
• Facilitate staff training
• Ensure adherence to all regulations and WHS guidelines and advise of non-conformances
• Follow, contribute and work in a culture committed to continuous improvement through active participation in quality and workplace safety initiatives, and the identification of areas for improvement.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in Science
• Ideally have experience in pharmaceutical, complementary medicines, or food industry.
• Experience developing documents
• Be committed to working as a part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Promote work environment that empowers, motivates and develops the talents of people
