My client is looking for a Sales and Service Consultant to join their close knit and high performing team to work at their sunny Mona Vale branch, this is an opportunity not to be missed! The Sales and Service Consultant is an essential role ensuring that customers’ needs are identified and they are able to purchase the products they desire. The Sales and Service Consultant’s main duties include selling, taking orders and liaising with suppliers. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization. They are looking for a team orientated person to provide outstanding service to all our customers and internal stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity. Business hours are:

Monday - Friday - 6:30am – 5pm and every second Saturday 7:30am – 12pm

Any overtime will be paid at $49.20 an hour

Day to day:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, welcome and greet customers.
  • Be able to serve customers face to face, over the phone and via digital media, transact and close a sale, and process cash / EFTPOS transactions.
  • Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately.
  • Organise with suppliers’ delivery of ordered goods in an accurate and timely manner, and from time-to-time special pricing.
  • Process sales and corresponding purchase orders through the ERP system.
  • Ensure accounts customers have credit available prior to processing an order.
  • Assist customers with the loading of goods from warehouse to vehicle.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain a fully stocked store.
  • Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
  • Recommend and supply items that match customer needs.
  • Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments.
  • Keep up to date with product information.
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits.
  • Have a desire to learn about a vast range of building industry products with a focus on roofing.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Manage difficult conversations with customers, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service and support provided.
