Position: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Gloucestershire
Type of role: temp to perm
Pay rates :12.42 per hour
My GLoucester based client specialises in the manufacture of hi‐tech industrial machines typically used for automotive sector. Due to continued growth, my client seeks an experienced mechanical fitters to join their manufacturing site.
General responsibilities will include machine building, mechanical assembly, making and modifying parts and safe use of hand tools.
Responsibilities:
Fitting and assembly of tooling and moulds to engineering drawings
Using hand tools to fit and assemble components
Using pillar drills, deburing tools and grinding wheels where necessary.
Use engineering measuring equipment where necessary
Drilling and tapping of components where necessary
Read and understand pneumatics drawings
Fit / pipe pneumatic and water circuits using either copper or plastic pipe work
