Senior IT Technician – Dumfries

Senior IT Technician Responsibilities:

• Help Desk phone support
• Hardware procurement, inventory, disposal support
• Account Management advanced support
• VIP/Executive support
• Assist with managing standard process/procedures
• Cross-training and providing guidance to other technicians
• Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance

 Senior IT Technician Skills:

• Experience in IT Help Desk support
• Windows 7 & 10
• Microsoft Office 2016 or above
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Desktop/Laptop/Printer Hardware• General Networking and Wireless environment understanding skills
• Mobile Device support experience (iOS preferred)
• Desktop support tools
• Excellent communication skills, telephone support skills, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Documentation and knowledge base experience
• Work on complex assignments, resolving problems and make recommendations
• Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex PC/Network problems accurately

 Senior IT Technician Skills Desirable Skills:

• Mac Support
• Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange experience
• Asterisk & FreePBX experience

 Salary:

The company is offering a salary for the Senior IT Technician is between £24,000 to £30,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
