Castle Education are seeking to appoint a Functional Skills Trainer/Tutor who can work within a thriving vocational training provider on the North Yorkshire Coast.
The client supports the workforce of tomorrow to develop their vocational and employability skills through apprenticeships and the importance of Maths and English has meant the training provider needs to add some crucial talent to the team. The client can offer a welcoming atmosphere with some excellent industry resources and a real life working environment for both staff and learners to enjoy.
You would need to be experienced in delivering functional skills and a specialism in Maths would be a real positive. Experience in the classroom and with apprentices is also really important.
Qualifications required include;
Level 3 Award in Education and Training or any other equivalent teaching qualifications
A Maths Qualification - Degree/Masters would be really beneficial
Functional skills training and delivery experience would be advantageous
An assessor qualification would be advantageous
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
