Principal / Chartered Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Specialist geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy has an opportunity for a CSE / Principle to join their team.

Key Requirements

• Chartered Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or appropriate professional body, with a first degree in civil engineering or engineering geology and an appropriate postgraduate MSc or higher degree.
• Demonstrate numeracy and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, including ideally a period of post charter working on relevant geotechnical projects in the UK.

• Experience of managing small project teams
• Enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop advanced numerical modelling skills.
• Competence in the use of Eurocode design including piling, piled walls, foundations, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations
