GI Group are currently recruiting HGV Shunter Drivers for our internationally known client based in Doncaster (DN9). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. They operate in numerous countries and are recognised for their technology, customer service, and commitment to sustainability.

We are looking for HGV Shunter Drivers to work on an ongoing basis:

• Monday to Friday
• 23:00pm start
• £21.38 per hour*
• £27.26 per hour after 40 hrs

*Please note: pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay.

Duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle pre-checks
• Shunting trailers between bays, yard and loading areas (site movements)
• Coupling/uncoupling trailers safely (where required)
• Working with the transport/warehouse team to ensure trailer availability and smooth yard operation
• Scanning and loading of own vehicle (if required)
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• Presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes)
• 12 months+ Class 1 licence
• Valid and in-date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
