GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in York (YO26).

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

- 1300-2030 starts

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend work available

- Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

- Monday to Friday – £20.34 per hour

- Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour

- Saturday - £23.52 per hour

- Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour

- Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

- Conducting Vehicle checks

- Trunking work to depots and Hubs

- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

- A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.

- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes

- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC

- Have good customer service skills

- Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
