Position : Onshore Construction Coordinator
Location: Onshore - Doha, Qatar
Work status: Resident, single
Work Cycle: Standard (8 hours a day / 6 days a week)
Mobilisation Date: ASAP
Contract Duration : 24 months
Job Description :
- To ensure compliance with HSE (occupational and process) legislation, Company standards and procedures as they apply to project management and project engineering, to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance.
- To ensure compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards.
- To insure the good level of competency for client company Supervision Team offshore.
- To develop tools as required to coordinate the offshore construction activities, from preparation stage up to completion offshore.
- To organize readiness reviews with the Construction Department of E&C, to ensure the projects are sufficiently prepared and matured to go for site execution.
- To contribute to the Project Execution strategy and Project Execution Plan related to the offshore construction activities.
- To follow-up the KPI’s for the team and for the reporting to the Construction Lead; propose any other KPY’s.
- To submit a weekly report to his hierarchical superior.
- To track Engineering and procurement deliveries, related to Construction activities, in close relation with the Construction Engineers.
- To organize the offshore works in accordance with prioritization agreed with the Construction Lead, based on emergency, safety, production and future development critical needs.
- To provide feedback for cost realization of the projects.
- To perform risk analysis as required for the good performance of the works.
- To participate to HAZID’s, Risk Assessments and JSA’s when required.
- To interface with other departments in E&C, FO… as needed for the good performance of the works.
- To organise the Coordination Meetings (weekly) with Construction Engineers, as required.
- To prepare and facilitate relevant progress reports and distribute to key stakeholders
- To liaise with C&P for necessary contracts/PO’s related to offshore construction activities.
- To ensure that the resources and organisation from Contractor are adequate with regards to the workload.
- Mentor, guide and act as role model for the Construction Department.
- proactively take responsibility for self-progression by proposing improvement of the tools, organization, …, as required for the good performance of the Construction Department.
- To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.
Qualifications:
- Management methods.
- Technical background with a minimum of 15-20 years experience in construction of O&G installations.Experience in offshore construction activities under SIMOPS conditions.
- Extensive knowledge of industry best practice in Project Management.
- Fluent in English.
