We are recruiting for a Pipeline Project Manager for one of our Clients

 Terms & Condition:

Work Assignment : Contract Hire ( to work for the Client through MPH )

Work Location : Doha, Qatar  ( with Frequent missions worldwide to be forecasted (to FEED contractor, line pipe manufacturers and EPC Tenderers’ location)

Duration : 18 months

Work Status : Resident, Onshore

Requirements :

  • Experience in the management of a complex multidiscipline Project team, with more than 5 years in Riser and Flowline systems.
  • Good motivational skills.
  • Sound organisation ability and respect for planning and budgets.
  • Good knowledge of the relevant environment, open to new concepts and methods of construction.
  • Autonomous, dynamic and delivery focus.
  • Able to deal swiftly with internal processes.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Valid BOSIET certificate (Opito).

Mission

  • The job holder is responsible for all the activities related to the replacement of the 16inch pipelines between DP4, DP3 and DP2 platforms located on offshore field, Qatar, i.e. to manage under the responsibility of ECP Manager of  COMPANY the engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing and qualification, installation, hook-up and commissioning of the 16inch pipelines, in conformity with TOTAL and COMPANY general specifications (even though job older is encouraged to identify derogation), H3SE rules, and within the agreed budget, schedule and Statement of Requirements.

  • The job holder has the whole responsibility of all activities related to the Project development from FEED throughout Final Investment Decision (FID), up to transfer to Operating entity and close out of Project.
  • The job holder shall ensure that the project will be delivered within the approved budget, within the approved overall schedule, and will respect the specified performances and the required Quality and Safety. He (she) shall prepare all necessary project plans in accordance with the Statement of Requirements and with the Project Execution Plan. The job holder is also responsible for ensuring that the new pipelines will be adequate for Field Operation: fit for purpose, operable, maintainable and reliable - within the agreed budget and schedule for completion.
  • The job holder has the responsibility for defining the best organization and associated responsibilities, the right level and number of delegation of authorities, the more efficient Health, Safety and Environment strategy/policy/system, the more efficient Quality Assurance strategy/policy/system, the best contractual and procurement strategy/policy/system, the best Project Control strategy/policy/system, the right Risk Management strategy/policy/system. He (she) shall direct and supervise the implementation and negotiation of contracts.
  • The Job Holder will manage the Project team subordinates and will have to guide them in the performance of their duties in order that all contribute to the achievement of the Project planned production start-up date.
  • The job holder is also responsible for the management of interfaces with other concerned entities in both COMPANY and Head Quarters.
  • The job holder shall also update regularly, at least quarterly, the Risk Register of the package and implement the corresponding mitigation actions.
  • The job holder reports to the ECP Manager of COMPANY and will ensure / handle the communication of the project with the Partners as required.
  • The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to H3SE rules & requirements, and with regard to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy, for implementing H3SE rules and Quality Assurance / Quality Check organization & processes within his area of responsibility, for ensuring that required H3SE competencies are within his team, and for verifying that H3SE rules are understood and respected on the worksites (H3SE awareness).
