We are looking for Senior HVAC Engineering Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Service Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Status: Resident

Start Date: JULY 2024

Duration: 1 year with possibility for extensions

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• In HVAC in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields – 15 years minimum is required
• In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering, Construction, etc)
• Experience in MEP design of Infrastructure and Data Centers project with specialization in HVAC and Refrigeration.
• Proficient in heat load calculations, ventilation calculations, equipment selection, high and low side design, general layout etc.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards – TIER Standard Topology as per ASHRAE, NBC, ECBC, NFPA, Uptime Institute, TIA 942, BICSI 002, EN 50600 etc.
• Knowledge of related software like HAP, Ansys, IES, Six Sigma, Cradle, NavisWorks, BIM, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry and an understanding of its working practices relating to telecommunications

The service will include the following missions/Activities:

• Supervision and coordination of HVAC Engineering of EPC Contractors.
• Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines.
• Technical papers preparation to support management position for clarifications/ decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners.
• Deviation requests coordination to the project referential, in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule.
• Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability review and design/model review meetings.
• Review of HVAC documents in accordance with industry standards, codes and Company specifications such as drawing, calculation note.
• Ensure the respect of the technical rules on construction discipline (correct usage of Company General Specifications and international norms) in HVAC.
• Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered,
• Support to possible technical queries and derogations to Project specifications (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting.
• Contribution to the evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and review/approval of deliverables from the design contractor - Engineering drawings, calculation notes, specifications, procedures.
• To comply with HSE requirements and to support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives.
• To support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans, procedure and specifications).
