We are looking for an Electrical Engineer & Commissioning with the following details : 

Location : Lubango, ANGOLA 

Duration : 10 months 

Work Schedule : Rotation 12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF 

Start date : July 2025

Experience and qualifications required : 

• SOLAR PV project experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction of industrial facilities
• EPC background and experience
• English and Portuguese speaker
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of solar PV systems and associated SCADA controls.
• Experience working with AC & DC Electricity, PV Systems, Trackers, Inverters, and AC collection Systems.
• Coordination of equipment vendor commissioning processes.
• Understanding of major electrical equipment such as switchgear, VAR systems, reclosers, MV transformers.
• Compile and review electrical testing results.
• Administer and train individuals to perform PV string testing.
• Possess an understanding of the operation of power system protection relays.
• Understanding of LOTO principles.
• Experience with projects valued at over $50 million.
• A minimum of two construction projects completed.
• Knowledgeable of international standards and 'best practices' for construction
• Knowledgeable of environmental legislation/regulations and good industry practice related to construction works
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint or similar
• Experience working with RNT/ENDE for construction of HV Substations and OHL is preferred.
