Administrative Assistant/Excel Specialist (BBBH12276) Austin, Texas

Salary: USD15 - USD15 per hour

The HT Group is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant who is skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and presentation creation. The purpose of this role is to support the Quality Department of a large manufacturer in South East Austin, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy data entry as well as the formation of charts, graphs, pivot tables and PowerPoint presentations. This is a full-time temp-to-hire role, and we are looking to have someone begin ASAP.

$15/hr

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Transcribe data accurately and efficiently
  • Compile and summarize data into graphic images such as charts and graphs
  • Utilize PowerPoint to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Transfer hard copy documents into our systems database
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Utilize Excel to create pivot tables on requested information
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication

Required Skills and Experience of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Excellent typing ability
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and ability to create a variety of charts, graphs and pivot tables
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to work well independently
