Warehouse Picker Packer – Days

Newburn, Newcastle, NE15

£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6am-2pm / 2pm – 10pm - 2 week rotation

Gi Group is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Picker Packers to join our client’s busy operation in Newburn on a day rotation basis.

This is an excellent ongoing temporary opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidates.

Shift & Pay Details:

• Morning and back shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm – 10pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Pay: £12.71 per hour - rising to £13.22ph
• Ongoing temporary work with potential for permanent placements

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Using warehouse systems and following pick lists/instructions
• Loading/unloading stock and moving goods within the warehouse
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Experience using a handheld scanner is preferred
• Ability to work night shifts on a Sunday–Thursday pattern
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
