Tele Researcher (Short-term contract – 4–6 weeks, potential extension)

We’re recruiting Tele Researchers to support an education-sector survey project. You’ll be calling students who have completed or withdrawn from a course (via local colleges, councils or training providers) to complete structured telephone surveys, capturing accurate information and delivering a great experience on every call.

Expected start dates: 26th October or 2nd November

Hours & shifts:

• 37 hours per week
• Mon–Fri between 09:00–20:00, working shifts across 4 days
• Possible overtime on Saturdays

Pay rates (hourly)

• 18–20 years: £10.85, increasing to £11.00 after 4 weeks (subject to KPIs being met and no sickness in the first month)
• 21+ years: £12.71, increasing to £12.90 after 4 weeks (subject to KPIs being met and no sickness in the first month)

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone surveys with students across a wide range of backgrounds and levels of English
• Accurately record responses and maintain excellent attention to detail
• Work to daily/weekly targets while maintaining quality standards
• Use objection handling techniques and a professional, business-like approach
• Maintain awareness of potential vulnerabilities and follow safeguarding and support processes in line with policy
