Salary: AED7000 - AED11000 per month

Very well known British curriculum Nursery is hiring - Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teachers

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, teaching and assessment

  • Ensure all areas of the curriculum are covered through effective long, mid and short term plans ensuring a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum
  • Observations and assessment on individual child for all areas of
  • Planning next steps based on the observations and assessment during teaching
  • Recording and reporting children’s learning and development within given
  • Maintain ‘Learning journeys’ for
  • Teaching planned lessons based on the age group and learning objectives of EYFS
  • Demonstrate excellent and up to date classroom practice
  • Use a range and balance of teaching strategies and resources
  • Involve children actively in their own learning by encouraging ‘Child initiative activities’.
  • Identify the need of intervention and provide support for further development of the child/children. Also maintain relevant documentations and communication as
  • Actively develop the learning environment at the nursery to the benefit of the children and other staff whilst fulfilling the objectives and curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Other Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with parents and carers at all times
  • Work as an integral part of the team, showing flexibility and professional conduct at all times with all other members of staff, being positive, pro-active and showing a willingness to be a strong role model for other team
  • Produce a monthly newsletter and encourage open lines of communications between parents, children, colleagues and
  • Manage children’s behaviour and routines within the policies and procedures of the setting

  • Work within the setting’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and undertake specific tasks related to the safety and hygiene of the children and the nursery
  • Work within the nursery’s child protection procedures
  • Actively further implement and develop the Reggio Emilia inspired Early Years Foundation Stage Framework through constant up to date knowledge of both curriculums
  • Assist with tasks when necessary as part of the general upkeep, tidiness and cleanliness of the nursery and which contribute to the general wellbeing of the team
  • Plan and participate in outings and trips and be aware of additional responsibilities with regards to children’s safety on these occasions
  • Take part in and support fund raising activities
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, reflective practice, training and appraisal in order to improve skills and knowledge as required and develop a positive attitude that enhances practice

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma (cache or NVQ) or degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
