About the Role

A newly created Payroll Officer position has become available with a well-established organisation. Working closely with an experienced payroll team, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll processing in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Accurate data entry and timesheet management
  • Superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and third-party payments
  • Supporting automation and system improvements
  • Reconciliations, reporting and audit compliance
  • Partnering with managers to ensure accurate submissions and approvals

About You

We’re looking for a hands-on Payroll Officer who thrives in process driven environments! You’ll be confident with manual calculations, have strong knowledge of Awards/EAs and be eager to learn new processes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated payroll experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of Awards and EBA’s
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • A “can-do” attitude with strong problem-solving skills
