About the Company:
We are working with large retail distributer who are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team.
About the Role
Utilising your payroll knowledge, within various sectors, this role will enable you to carry out the following:
- Assisting with preparation of new employee contracts and onboarding in Payroll system.
- Processing of terminations.
- Resolve payroll related queries and issues.
- Monthly, and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Managing the accurate processing of fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc payrolls for Casual, Part time and Full-time employees.
- Working with External Payroll Processor.
- Oversee timesheet approvals, leave approvals and expense claim approvals and liaising with business unit stakeholders if there are delays.
- Calculation of monthly payroll taxes and preparation and submission of
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Roubler payroll system or similar payroll system is highly desirable.
- Experience in working with Retail Awards is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
