We’re partnering with a well-known business that is going through a period of growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join a high-performing team and take ownership of payroll operations for a large, diverse workforce.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll lead a small team to deliver accurate and timely payroll services across the organisation. Your hands-on expertise and leadership will ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the payroll team to deliver end-to-end payroll processing
  • Oversee superannuation, tax, and compliance reporting
  • Provide guidance on Awards, EBAs, and payroll legislation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex payroll queries
  • Drive process improvements and ensure data integrity across payroll systems
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring within a payroll team
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Chris21 highly desired
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
