A technology business based close to Stockport are keen to hire a Trainee Logistics Administrator for their operations department. The Company boasts a vibrant and exciting workplace in an industry which never stands still and they are looking for enthusiastic individual to join their small, friendly team.

The candidate must be capable of multi-tasking, working under pressure whilst being able to manage their time and workload accordingly. The role requires someone with great versatility, able to communicate and develop close relationships with all areas of the business; undertaking a wide variety of tasks which carry a significant level of responsibility.

What will you be doing as a Trainee Logistics Administrator?

· Administrative tasks including the loading of purchase orders and sales orders
· Management of backorders including chasing down lead times with vendors
· Handling of customer and supplier returns
· Maintaining import / export records
· Liaising with freight forwarders, vendors and customers to ensure timely and secure movement of goods worldwide
· Maintaining close relationship with finance team to assist with variety of month-end tasks

We would LOVE you to apply for to be a Trainee Logistics Administrator if you have the following skills and experience:

· Prior experience in a distribution, logistics, retail or purchasing role would be advantageous, but not essential. Comprehensive internal training will be provided
· The candidate will work under the supervision of line management but must also display ability to work effectively under their own initiative
· Candidates with GCSE Maths and English qualifications C grade and above preferred
· Computer literate with good understanding of systems including Microsoft office
· Demonstrate the ability to receive and follow instructions to a high level of detail
· Good communication skills essential
· Candidates must display high attention to detail

What will you get in return for your work as a Trainee Logistics Administrator?

· Salary up to GBP22,000 DOE
· Full time hours - typically 9am to 5.30pm
· 25 holiday + bank holidays

· Based close to Stockport in Heaton Mersey
