TIG Welder
Leicester – LE5
Mon – Thurs; 07:30AM – 4:15PM
Friday; – 07:30AM – 12.30PM
Long Term Work / Permanent
Up to £12.00 per hour

TIG welders required for a busy manufacturer based in Leicester, working on long term contract on day shifts. TIG welding light to medium gauge steel components. You will be working in your own welding bay. Previous TIG welding experience and understanding of engineering drawings essential. This is a long term vacancy with the possibility of going permanent after few weeks. Immediate vacancies available, you will need to undergo a weld test.

Primary duties include:
- Complete the TIG welding process of all metal components to required standards
- Read and understand engineering drawings accurately
- Handle machines and tools properly at all times
- Liaise and coordinate relevant information with regards to quality issues

Ideal candidate:
- Available immediately and able to work on a temp - perm contract
- Experienced Welder (MIG and TIG)
- Prepared to contribute with overtime needs as the business dictates
- Working to Engineering drawings
- Finishing, fettling and grinding own work

Benefits:
- Hourly pay £10.50 - £12.00
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 38 hrs per week
- Temp – Perm opportunities
- Weekly pay
