Castle Education are in exclusivity with an outstanding college in the Scarborough region, who need Maths Tutors to help support their maths department through these tough times, covering absence where necessary and also catching up with students who have been falling behind due to the current situation. The outstanding provider are looking for a committed and dynamic Casual Maths Lecturer to develop their brand and to help them settle into their new college.
If you are currently a Maths Specialist who has a strong background in teaching Maths from Functional skills at various levels to GCSE level, then this could be your ideal role!
The Casual Maths Tutor ideally is to be qualified and have experience in supporting students to achieve their Maths qualification, enabling them a better future prospectus. The Casual Maths role is the perfect opportunity to witness your teachings and their impact on learners as you watch them develop during the programme. You as the Maths Lecturer will be held accountable for all teaching elements and tutorials with high grades included.
Key Responsibilities for the role of Casual Maths Teacher:
- Creation of effect schemes of work
- Delivering exceptional teaching and learning
- Ensuring students are provided with a positive learning experience
- Maintaining appropriate and accurate records and evidence or learner progress
The Qualities and Qualifications you are to possess:
- Previous teaching experience in Maths
- The skills, experience, and knowledge to deliver the Maths programme
- Enthusiasm and patience to pass on your skills and knowledge to others
- The UK recognised teaching qualification
- DBS on the update service
