Teaching Assistant Trainer

Teaching Assistant Trainer (RL9779) Kingston Upon Hull, England

Salary: GBP20 - GBP25 per hour

Are you an experienced and qualified schoolteacher, an experienced Teaching Assistant or even an ATA or HLTA or a Learning support specialist? Are you looking for a change in direction?

Castle Education are working exclusively with a client in Hull who specialise in Apprenticeships and Traineeships. The role of Teaching Assistant Trainer is pivotal for the company and would involve delivering high-quality training to learners who wish to work within the classroom to support learning and development. The types of recognised qualifications you may deliver include;

Recognised qualifications for teaching assistants include:

  • Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate.
  • Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

 

As a Teaching Assistant Trainer, there is a real opportunity to work with adults who have a passion to develop and learn new skills in relation to them aspiring to work with young people to support their studies. The Teaching Assistant Trainer will be able to share vocational experience to promote and encourage motivation and communication skills which are essential in the role of a Teaching Assistant. Any additional knowledge or experience delivering SEN training or even Customer Service, Leadership and management or Functional skills may also be incorporated if applicable and relevant.

This client also promotes progression and development and could support with any applicable and appropriate CPD. They also promote a very team focused environment with a family feel.

Qualifications required;

A full Teaching Qualification or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Vocational experience within the classroom and supporting learners

Knowledge of qualifications and frameworks may be advantageous

An assessor qualification wold also be advantageous

This role is a full time and permanent role which has face to face delivery within the training centre. The salary for the role is £20-£24K and there is access to parking close to the centre.
