Castle Education are exciting to be working with a college in Scarborough who is looking to recruit for a Maths Course Leader

The Maths Programme Leader role will be responsible for working with varied students from different curriculum areas to support them to complete elements of the programme of study. The need for excellent planning and delivery will be required to meet individual learners and tracking of learner progress will support the study programmes completion and success. You will be required to motivate and promote learning through a range of mediums and a passion for the subject of Maths will be crucial.
Qualifications and Experience Required;
- A Minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Maths and or numeracy
- Teaching Qualifications including PGCE, Certificate in Education.
- Knowledge of delivery for both Functional skills Entry to Level 2 and GCSE Maths
- Experience of course management including attendance, achievements and outcomes.
The hourly rate for this role is between £23.91 - £26.55 inclusive of admin and holiday pay. The role is circa 14.5 hours a week on a casual hours contract.
