Salary: GBP27250 - GBP29250 per annum

Castle Education are working with a thriving college in the North Yorkshire area who are looking for a dedicated student support manager to join the team and manage across the student support division. This opportunity is on a part-time basis, offering 14.5 hours per week over two days Thursday and Friday. The college are looking for a driven organised and enthusiastic student support manager to take on the challenge and to develop the student support hub, ensuring all students receive an outstanding student experience. As Student Support Manager you are to step up and lead a team of people committed to supporting students. The role also gives the responsibility of pastoral support. The main object of this role is ALS, as well as student well-being and safeguarding and all finical and bursary support.

The Qualities and Qualifications you are to possess:

  • Previous support experience, assisting those who have learning difficulties
  • The skills, experience, and knowledge to deliver a support programme, enabling those who struggle to learn
  • Enthusiasm and patience to pass on your skills and knowledge to others
  • The UK recognised teaching qualification
  • DBS on the update service
  • Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy 
  • Experience leading a team of LSP
  • Teaching Assistant Qualifications or relevant experience

The salary for this role is: £29,250
