Main Purpose of role
Initial tasks as an IT Support Analyst will be supporting all aspects of Core IT Systems and Network Infrastructure, supporting diverse locations across the UK, and a worldwide remote workforce
Duties include, but are not limited to: -
- Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts
- Recognise, identify and prioritise incidents in accordance with business requirements, organisational policies and operational impact
- Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends
- Monitor and support a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, VoIP system, servers, storage, operating systems and core applications
- Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures
- Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status.
- Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)

Person Specification
- Excellent Windows 10 skills
- Microsoft Office application support experience
- Experience in Trend Micro software and appliance management would be advantageous
- Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2012r2, Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, VMWare and Microsoft Skype for Business beneficial
- Good problem solving skills
- Mobile device management and setup including Apple iOS
- Must work well in a team as well as independently
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to none technical audience
- Required to work occasionally outside of normal working hours
- Flexibility to work remotely when needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related areas
- Full driving licence
