The role will be based in Chorley
We are seeking a hardworking individual with a positive attitude and the ability to pay close attention to detail to join their team as a Planner . Streey Works Administrator within our Street works department.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the teams works on site and plan / schedule the allocated work
- Re-allocate work and manage abortive visits
- Responsible for administrating all aspects of the noticing / permitting process against respective legislation and respective codes of Practice.
- Managing noticing against respective client systems and processes
- Managing e-mails and communication from various clients and suppliers
- Liaising with local authorities
- Sending reports to relevant parties regarding permit progress / updates / registrations dealing with any other administrative duties as and when required
- Chasing information, identifying issues or potential problems and escalating to the relevant Manager where appropriate
- Ensuring that no charges are incurred in respect to the administration of Street works.
Desired experience:
- Knowledge of Street Works permitting systems
- Planning or scheduling experience
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work using own initiative and within a team
- Knowledge of Street works Legislation and relevant codes of Practice, although training will be given.
