Project Manager

Project Manager (ABSPMTC3) Chorley, England

Salary: GBP45000 - GBP55000 per annum + + car allowance

A growing and thriving business within the Utilities and Infrastructure sector are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager on a full-time permanent basis. As a Project Manager, you will be required to lead and manage the Desilting team across the BT Open Reach Contract, this is consisting of direct labour and sub-contractors whilst maintaining and developing a successful programme to ensure clients requirements and company standards are achieved. You will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the business and maintain communication with your team at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Lead and manage a team
  • Maintain and develop an operations programme of work
  • Maintain and deliver on company and clients requirements
  • Communicate with key stakeholders both internal and external
  • Conduct and document toolbox talks and site audits
  • Support the business and wider business with ISO Standards and HSQE

To be successful within this role you will have a full UK driving licence, the willingness to travel to various sites along with experience in a similar management position, ideally within the utilities industry. Similar industries will be considered. You will have good communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate and achieve great things.

The following skills/qualifications are advantageous;

  • SMSTS
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • High Pressure Water Jetting (advantageous)
  • Confined Space (advantageous)
  • Sign Lighting and Guarding (advantageous)
  • Management of people courses.
