With a commitment to safety, innovation and operational excellence, they offer a collaborative environment where employees can contribute to meaningful projects and ongoing business growth. They are looking for a new HSE Manager to join the team.
You will work closely with managers across the organisation to ensure safe working practices are in place and continuously improved.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
• Develop, review and implement HSE policies, procedures and systems
• Conduct and manage risk assessments, COSHH assessments and internal audits
• Lead accident investigations, reporting and analysis to drive continuous improvement
• Promote a proactive safety-first culture across all departments
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to implement safety improvements
• Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work processes
• Coordinate contractor and visitor safety on site
• Lead HSE meetings and ensure actions are followed through
• Oversee emergency planning, evacuation procedures and first aid provision
• Support general HSE administration and communication across the business
About You
- Previous experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of HSE legislation and best practice
• Able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, reliable and professional
