Salary: GBP450 - GBP550 per day

IT Project Manager – LIMS/Healthcare/NHS – London

Inside IR35 / Umbrella – £450 – £550 (all inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.

IT Project Manager required for a rapidly expanding Healthcare business based in Central London, where you will play a key role in the delivery of complex application, Strong Knowledge of LIMS (Laboratory information management system) system change, infrastructure, 0365 projects as part of large scale transformation. The role will be initially remote, with a long-term view of a couple of days in the office in Central London.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within IT project management, with the ability to work on multiple complex projects, and will preferably have experience in a healthcare/NHS/private healthcare.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Strong LIMS (Laboratory information management system) Knowledge and experience
  • Manage the timely delivery of complex change projects/programmes with multiple interdependent workstreams in accordance with internal project methodologies.
  • Proactively work with all areas of the business to ensure issues are unblocked quickly.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure they are part of successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain high quality project management documentation including detailed plans, risk and issues logs, benefits plans, appraisal papers and other project tools required to work effectively and deliver project objectives.
  • Identify and capture issues and risks proactively, including clinical risks, and ensure timely resolution and escalation where appropriate.
  • Ensure that all relevant change control procedures (project, IT, operational) are adhered to during project delivery.

Key Skills required for the role

  • Proven IT project management experience, preferably gained from a Healthcare environment.
  • Experience of working on a variety of projects, including application, 0365, infrastructure and system change projects.
  • Management of 3rd party suppliers in the delivery of software and/or technology.
  • Effective management of stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive stakeholders.
  • Full Lifecycle project management experience, from requirement gathering to go-live and early life support.
  • Ability to produce high quality information for executive stakeholders on a regular basis.
