Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of a global Life Sciences company providing products and services used in scientific research, healthcare, and industrial laboratories. We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the European Regulatory Affairs team in Loughborough.

In Administrative Assistant role, you’ll help ensure products meet global regulatory requirements, supporting the mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support product registrations, maintain compliance documentation, and assist with regulatory submissions across international markets. Location: Loughborough, LE11

Hybrid: possible after training (2 days WFH / 3 days office)

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract: 12 months

Shifts: Monday–Friday (start between 08:00–09:00 / finish between 17:00–18:00)

 

Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product registrations and regulatory submissions for international markets
  • Compile and maintain technical/regulatory documentation and compliance records
  • Review regulatory requirements and support product lifecycle activities (initial registration to post-market updates)
  • Liaise with internal teams including Commercial, Customer Service and Quality Assurance, as well as external suppliers, to support compliance activities
  • Ensure documents are accurate, up to date and stored in line with internal processes

 

Administrative Assistant Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (no prior experience required)
  • Preferred fields: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or another scientific subject
  • Additional qualifications in Quality Management or Regulatory Affairs are advantageous
  • Experience with regulatory submissions/document management (beneficial)
  • Strong attention to detail with good technical writing/documentation skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
