Monday – Friday 09:00 – 15:00

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group. We are recruiting a Cleaner to work in collaboration with our client based in Rotherham (S60).

Cleaner Shift & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 3:00pm (30 hours per week)
• No flexibility on start/finish times
• £13.45 per hour

Cleaner Key Responsibilities:

• Emptying a high volume of bins across the site (this can involve heavy lifting)
• Covering offices and welfare areas (kitchen/canteen, toilets, changing areas)
• Going onto the shop floor to empty bins only (no shop floor cleaning required)
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming relevant areas as required
• Waste management, including segregating waste correctly
• Safe handling, dilution and storage of cleaning chemicals (COSHH)
• Reporting maintenance issues and any health & safety hazards

Cleaner  Skills & Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and able to lift (bins can be heavy)
• Cleaning experience in a commercial/industrial environment is preferred
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Understanding of basic site safety procedures (COSHH awareness beneficial)
• Basic DBS required
