Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of a global life sciences company based in Paisley providing products and services used across scientific research, healthcare, and industrial laboratories. We’re looking for an experienced Recruiter to join the talent acquisition team on a 6-month contract, supporting hiring across multiple business areas.

As a Recruiter, you will act as a strategic talent advisor, managing full-cycle recruitment for a varied portfolio of roles across business units. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and HR teams to shape sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, and deliver an excellent candidate experience.

Recruiter Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: briefing, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers and onboarding support
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing and market mapping
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and job families, advising on recruitment strategy and best practice
  • Use data and insights to track performance, identify trends, and improve recruiting outcomes
  • Produce recruitment metrics, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes and candidate experience

 

Recruiter Requirements:

  • Proven full-cycle recruitment experience (ideally within life sciences, healthcare, or corporate environments)
  • Strong sourcing capability including Boolean search, direct sourcing, and use of the latest sourcing technology/tools
  • Confident managing commercial recruitment and stakeholders across different job families and business functions
  • Experience using ATS/CRM systems (Workday knowledge preferred)
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, metrics and presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management, consultation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in metrics tracking, dashboard creation and data-driven insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Project management and process improvement mindset
  • Understanding of employment law and compliance requirements
