General Operative

6-month contract

£13.28 - £17.66 per hour

We’re recruiting General Operatives to join our client in Swindon SN3, supporting manual packing operations in a cleanroom environment. You’ll work in a team focused on quality, performance and compliance.

General Operative Shifts & Pay (Mon–Fri):

• 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–23:00: £13.28/hr + 22% shift allowance
• 23:00–07:00: £13.28/hr + 33% shift allowance

Contract: 6 months

Location: Swindon SN3

General Operative Duties include:

• Manual packing of product-filled vials to SOPs
• Correct gowning and cleaning of the packing area
• Materials handling and stock checks (ensuring items are in date)
• Line-end tasks: packaging, labelling, in-process weight checks
• Completing documentation accurately (Data Integrity)
• Reporting any non-conformance to Team Lead/QA

General Operative Required:

• GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused
• Ability to follow SOPs in a regulated environment

General Operative  Preferred:

• Experience in pharma/food/regulated manufacturing
