Manufacturing Operator 

Basingstoke RG24

Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (AM and PM)

£13.46 per hour + 20% shift allowance

12-month contract

Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Basingstoke (RG24) for a Manufacturing Operator to join their team on a 12-month contract.

Manufacturing Operator Pay & shift pattern:

• £13.46 per hour + 20% shift allowance
• Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:
• 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 (rotation on a fortnightly basis)

Manufacturing Operator Key responsibilities:

• Follow manufacturing process: batch records, labels, correct materials/equipment
• Update SAP after tasks
• Maintain training records in MasterControl
• Attend daily team meetings, track daily targets and report progress
• Work to safety/quality standards and report any unsafe/unethical issues

Manufacturing Operator Experience, skills & abilities required:

• Good attention to detail, literacy/numeracy, able to follow instructions and record data accurately
• Basic computer skills (email)
• Able to lift 25kg bags as required
• Manufacturing experience helpful but not essential
• Reliable, customer-focused, accountable (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement)
