Gi Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Technician based in Birmingham B15. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment on a 6‑month assignment.

Manufacturing Technician Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 07:00 – 15:30
• 40 hours per week

Manufacturing Technician Salary:

• £13.53 per hour

Manufacturing Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own workload independently in line with the published plan
• Manage inventory to ensure materials are available and correctly transacted to complete assigned work
• Own and perform scheduled activities for designated equipment, areas, or functions
• Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives in all aspects of work
• Take full responsibility for your own work, ensuring it is completed “right first time”
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Manufacturing Technician Required Skills & Experience:

• Miiimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory or similar environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT literate, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to learn quickly, understand and follow instructions
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritise workload effectively

Manufacturing Technician Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
• Experience in workload planning and management
