Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Operator to support day-to-day material handling in a production dispensary. You will work on shift, follow GMP and safety rules, and ensure accurate material movements and records.

Manufacturing Operator Working hours:

• Full time, 37.5 hrs/week.
• Mon–Fri: 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–22:45

Manufacturing Operator Salary:

•  £13.79/hr + 22% shift allowance (£16.82 per hour)

Manufacturing Operator Key Duties:

• Dispense materials and complete paperwork with high data integrity.
• Keep dispensary clean, organised and compliant.
• Use SAP/MRP and temperature monitoring systems.
• Move materials using cranes, forklifts and hand trucks; use pallet inverters/wrappers.
• Prepare materials for production, check returns and manage disposals.
• Support cycle counts, stocktakes, KPIs and deviation reporting.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients and regulatory bodies.
• Train colleagues and help with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Manufacturing Operator Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in dispensary or warehouse operations linked to manufacturing.
• Computer literate (SAP/MRP, Excel, Word).
• Able to work in cleanroom and wear required PPE.
• Right to work in the UK and willing to undergo a criminal record check.

Manufacturing Operator Desirable:

• Pharmaceutical or cold-chain experience.
• Forklift licence (training available).
• Experience with external audits or client-facing work.
