UX Researcher (BBBH1414) Gloucestershire, England
On behalf of our prestigious, rapidly growing and evolving client based in the heart of the Cotswolds we are seeking a proactive UX Researcher with the experience to identify the most appropriate form of user research and the ability to map customer journeys. The successful candidate will be responsible for all research to aid understanding of their customer processes. You will bridge the gap between issues and opportunities identified by the Web Analyst and the solutions delivered by the UX Team, which in turn will lead to a delivery of what their customers actually want.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Customer journey mapping
• Conducting user research in order to understand the customers’ needs and qualitative research to uncover the underlying reasons why people do what they do on the website, their opinions and motivations
• Identifying appropriate A/B and multivariate split tests to run
• Ensuring all customer journeys are tracked and monitored appropriately
• Working with Scrum Team to ensure solutions meet the desired objectives
• Helping to ensure continuity of customer experience across the website
• Assisting in improving the customer journeys and overall experience across the site
• Assisting in identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Assisting with improving revenues without negatively impacting the user experience
The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving the customer experience, be a self-starter with excellent numeracy, statistical and communication skills plus the following skills and experience:
• Previous user research experience in a B2C role
• Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles
• Ability to recognise the most appropriate user research methodology for each situation
• Ability to understand data and make appropriate business decisions
• Ability to draw hypothesise from data
• An understanding of SEM and PPC
• Extensive experience in using analytic tools (such as Google Analytics)
