Job Scope
Preparing and maintaining the Project Integrated Master Schedule and the PMT Work Detailed Schedule, up to the “as-realized” stage;
Defining, Consolidating, Controlling and Coordinating all planning and progress control activities related to the
Project scope;
Ensuring that all activities are correctly planned and performed throughout the whole project duration
in accordance with the initial plan, considering scheduling activities as a predictive tool for the Project;
Identifying at all times any area of concern (critical path, clashes, early start, interfaces), and coordinating
with the relevant project groups to identify causes and possible resolutions;
Ensuring availability at all times of updated and accurate scheduling, planning and progress reporting
documentation;
Defining and updating as necessary the Project Work Breakdown Structure;
Providing the Planning requirements for the Call For Tender Package and participating to the Tenders
evaluation, especially with regards of assessment of schedule and productivities of the different Tenders;
Defining and revising the planning & progress measurement procedures and documents;
Following closely the activities of the EPC contractor planning engineer(s);
Monitoring closely the contractor’s execution schedule and progress reports and reporting any deviations;
Checking and commenting on the Contractor’s procedures, schedule, progress and methodology, highlighting
any anomalies and providing detailed analysis as required;
Verifying critical path consistency with overall schedule and Actual physical progress towards EPC contractor’s
and Forecasted progress figures;
Identifying and analyzing potential delays and propose corrective actions;
Providing detailed and accurate monthly progress reporting, dashboards, schedules to be incorporated into
the monthly project report;
Maintaining accurate “as-realized” data, especially with progress and productivity figures;
Providing assistance to the Project Management Team for all matters related to planning & progress reporting
and to provide analyses and simulations of new schedules;
Participating in reviews and technical audits on planning & progress activities, and in particular to provide
input for Project Schedule Risk Analysis
