Construction Partner – International Firm – Birmingham

Brief:

• Our client, a top 10 international law firm, is seeking to recruit a Construction Partner to join their Tier 1 ranked, market leading team. The successful candidate can be based in Birmingham. Equity opportunities available.

Role and Requirements:

• We are seeking a Partner level Construction lawyer who has +10 years PQE gained within a strong regional, national or City firm. The candidate would ideally have a proven track record of being work generative and of growing / leading a specialist non contentious construction team. You will ideally have an existing client base to transfer and be ready to grow a practice in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
• The team’s transactional work includes advising on industry standard form contracts (such as JCT, ICE, NEC, GC/Works, ACE, RIBA, RICS), as well as regularly preparing and advising on bespoke forms of contract, specialising in acting for both borrowers and lenders on the construction aspects of real estate finance transactions.
• Sector specialisms include Financial Services, Energy, Consumer TMT, Industrials and Life Sciences.
• Ranked Tier 1 in Legal 500, you will join a highly successful, leading Construction Team, which works collegiately across multiple offices. This is a great opportunity to be a key member of a growing team, taking a leading role to help develop the Construction offering.
