I'm currently working with a well-regarded and growing regional law firm that is looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor or Associate (NQ-3 PQE) into its expanding Midlands team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior commercial lawyer seeking high-quality work, early client exposure and the chance to develop a specialism within a supportive and ambitious commercial practice. The team advises a diverse client base ranging from established businesses and manufacturers to fast-growing entrepreneurial companies, offering a varied and interesting workload.
The Opportunity
Joining an experienced commercial team, you will advise businesses on a broad range of commercial law matters while developing strong client relationships and building your technical expertise.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a wide range of commercial contracts and business-critical agreements.
- Supporting businesses with day-to-day commercial legal matters and strategic projects.
- Working with clients across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, retail and other growth industries.
- Building and maintaining trusted client relationships.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas to provide practical, commercially focused advice.
- Developing expertise in specialist areas of commercial law, which may include data protection, consumer law, competition law, technology, AI or other emerging sectors.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the commercial practice.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity would suit:
- A newly qualified solicitor through to approximately 3 years' PQE.
- A lawyer with commercial law experience gained in private practice or through a commercial seat during training.
- Someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and providing pragmatic legal advice.
- A commercially minded individual with strong communication and drafting skills.
