Cornestone Medical Recruitment (cmr) has exclusivley partnered with a leading not for profit orginisation to engage an experienced Program Manager, for the following, full-time position based in the Greenslopes area.
As the Program Manager, you will lead the operations and clinical governance of a specialist therapeutic service supporting children, young people (0–17) and families impacted by trauma, abuse, neglect, and domestic and family violence.
Duties:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring quality, compliance and program outcomes are achieved
- Provide leadership, operational supervision and support to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a safe and high-performing culture
- Deliver clinical supervision and guidance to the Clinical Coordinator to ensure best-practice therapeutic approaches and risk management
- Monitor program performance, budgets and reporting requirements, including government and organisational reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, community organisations and key stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic planning, service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a small clinical case load (optional)
The successful candidate will possess:
- A post-graduate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work and/or Counselling.
Registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA, AASW, PACFA or ACA. - Significant experience in child protection, domestic and family violence, and/or child and adolescent mental health.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including operational and clinical supervision and team development.
- Sound knowledge and application of the Child Protection Act, the Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Act, and related legislation.
- A current Blue Card and a current Driver’s Licence.
