Accounting Manager/Controller (Remote) (ACCOU59325) United States Virgin Island
About the Opportunity:
Come join a fast growing SaaS company as the Accounting Manager / Controller (title dependent on experience).
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage monthly accounting close process including revenue recognition
- Perform hands-on accounting including preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
- Manage and ensure compliance across multiple sales tax jurisdictions
- Manage annual financial statement audit process with external auditors to ensure timely completion
- Manage technical accounting including performing technical accounting research and writing memos as needed
Qualifications:
- CPA or Big 4 experience preferred but not required
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 7+ years accounting or 2+ years prior controller/accounting manager experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS Accounting standards
- Experience with ASC 606 at a SaaS company required
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel
